The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music is proud to present Maputaland Band led by Alberto Chemane on Wednesday 23 April 2014 at 18:00.

 

This project is an international/multicultural project of music composed by Jose Alberto Daniel Chemane. Chemane is a specialist in African contemporary music and dance, specifically from Mozambique, he holds a Performance degree in Jazz and Popular music.

 

The music fuses sounds drawn from African contemporary music, as well as jazz music.  The project is opened at collaborating in outreach projects with local communities through African

music and dance and Jazz workshops in schools and cultural institutions.

 

Join us for this world class performances with Jose Alberto Daniel Chemane (Drums+percussions), Ildo Nandja (bass), Ndumiso Ndlovu (piano),  Sanele Phakathi (keyboard),  Lindani Phumlomo (percussions), Mpume Mbokazi and Nomkhosi Mazibuko (vocals), at Centre for Jazz and Popular Music (CJPM) is at Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus on Wednesday 23 April 2014. Doors open at 17:30 and music starts at 18:00. Entry fee is R40 (Pensioners R20 and students R15).

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
