12 MONTHS FIXED-TERM APPOINTMENT (4hrs per month )

The school wishes to appoint medical specialists who are willing to work on a sessional
basis in the Department of Dermatology inter alia teaching, lectures, and
dermatopathology teaching on a 10-header microscope.
The academic title of the successful incumbent will be determined during the selection
process in line with the University Senate-approved criteria for academic promotions
which is available on the HR Vacancies Website –

Minimum Requirements:
• Registration as a Specialist Anatomical Pathologist with the Colleges of Medicine
of South Africa (CMSA) and with the Health Professions Council of South Africa; or
equivalent
• Appointment at a certain grade will be dependent on years’ experience after
registration with the HPCSA in this specialty;
• Experience in undergraduate and clinical teaching and programmes;
• Computer literacy AND
• Driver’s license.
Remuneration will be in accordance with that specified by the Department of Health.

The University,
