St Gallen Symposium Global Essay Competition
The St.
Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for cross
generational debates on economic, political, and social developments. They bring together the key decision-makers, thought
leaders and brilliant young minds to discuss current issues and chances on
transforming ideas into action. The symposium is taking place every May in St. Gallen,
Switzerland.
The Global Essay Competition forms an integral
part of the symposium, availing the opportunity for 100 selected
participants to travel to Switzerland and attend the Symposium as one of
the Leaders of Tomorrow.
The theme of the 2022 St. Gallen Symposium is “Collaborative
Advantage” and the topic of the essay competition is “Collaborative
Advantage: What Should Be Written Into a New Intergenerational Contract?”. The
competition is open to any student enrolled in a graduate programme (master
level or higher) and born in 1992 or later.
