NASSP (National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme) at UKZN is looking for recent Doctoral degree students to pursue research study on Space-Science/Atmospheric Science/Astrophysics and interrelated studies.  The study may use Satellite observations, ground based observations and public available telescope datasets.  The ground based observations include LiDAR, Sun-Photometer, Radar and other remote sensing data available.  The current interest is also to relate the impact of Aerosol/Cloud/atmospheric parameters on Astronomical observations.

The applicants have to be highly self-motivated, capability to use satellite and ground based data sets, creative and excellent written communication skills.
