The Graduate School of Business and Leadership seeks to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated individual committed to research and community engagement in the field of Aquaponics  and Local Economic Development. The successful applicant will join a specialized team of staff in the RLED unit.  The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) sponsor the RLED Programme. This post is only available to South African citizens or permanent residents of South Africa.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (objectively measurable from CV)

 

 Team Leader

• Relevant doctoral degree or in the process of completing a doctorate in the field of Aquaponics.
• Evidence of excellence as a researcher within the discipline;
• Experience in the design and installation of aquaponics systems for small-scale famers in rural areas of KZN.
• Development of Training materials in Aquaponics for small-scale famers

 

Advantages:

 

·       Experience of running LED projects in Aquaponics
