Food and Hygiene insecurity action-research amongst UKZN students

Students at the University of KwaZulu-Natal are currently experiencing constraints/difficulties in terms of food, nutrition and hygiene. As of recent, a Food and Hygiene Security committee was put together by the Student Services Division (UKZN) to address this. To commence this initiative, we are conducting ground-level action research to determine the current status of food and hygiene insecurity at UKZN (Ethical Clearance number:  HSS/0956/018).

If you are a student who feels that you are currently experiencing food and hygiene insecurity (lack of food and/or hygiene items), then we urge you to respond to this online survey and give us your feedback. Responses are anonymous and no identifying details will be asked for.

It will take you up to 15 minutes to complete the online survey, as the questions are mainly based on 'selecting' options that suit you (multiple choice format). Your time/responses will contribute meaningfully to addressing the food and hygiene security problem at UKZN.

Thanking you for your response in advance,
