RESEARCH AMONGST ACADEMICS ON QUALITY OF WORK LIFE

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Mpho Kenneth Letooane, I am currently undertaking a research project as part of my studies towards a PhD. Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The study aims to assess the perceptions of academics in KwaZulu-Natal on the Quality of work life: wellbeing, job stress and work-life balance.
The research will give valuable information about the quality of work life of academics in KwaZulu-Natal and will assist us in obtaining insight to the employee needs regarding Quality of work life and establish how best these can be met to improve performance and commitment. As an academic in KwaZulu-Natal we believe that you can provide us with the vital information that is relevant to the study we are undertaking.

Participation is voluntary and you are free to withdraw from the study at any time without giving reasons, and without prejudice or any adverse consequences. There are no monetary rewards offered for participating in this study. Complete anonymity and confidentiality will be ensured throughout the study. After a period of 5 years in-line with the rules of UKZN, the research data will be disposed by shredding and incineration.

Your participation will be highly appreciated and will not take longer than 15 minutes to complete.
