Second and final Round of Physical Verification of employees
Thank you to all those staff who were verified during the verification process. To date there has been 2700 staff from a total of +-6 700 who have been verified.
The purpose of this email is to alert you that we are doing a second and final round of verification for those staff who have not had an opportunity to participate in this process.
Kindly note that the objective of this process is to verify the details of employees on the database.
The following categories of employees, who receive a salary via the UKZN payroll, will be verified:
Ø Permanent employees
Ø Contract/fixed term employees (e.g. tutors, part-time academics, field workers, admin assistants, research assistants, demonstrators, students)
Ø Post doctorates
The project team that has been set up to conduct the verification will be led by myself, Ms. Josephine Naicker, the Chief Audit Executive.
For all staff who were unable to participate in the previous round of the verification process, please present yourself at one of the venues listed and bring along the following compulsory documents:
· Original ID or passport or driver’s license, and
· A copy of the original document ID, passport or driver’s license
· Staff card and a copy thereof
Please note that employees can be verified at any of the locations, regardless of where the employee is based.
