Reminder: Important survey - Safer Learning environments

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN A STUDENT SURVEY OF SAFER LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS AT UNIVERSITY

A team of UKZN researchers are engaged in a project that involves working with students to create safer learning environments at university. The focus is mainly on understanding and reducing gender-based-violence (GBV), which has become an increasing concern. The promotion of quality education includes establishing a genuine sense of safety in order to enable students to participate fully without fear and we are hoping for maximum support from the students on the Edgewood campus.

The first part of the study is a short online survey that will enable us to understand the extent, the frequency, the location and the nature of GBV at universities.

All students are encouraged to participate in a short online survey that will take about 5-10 minutes to complete.
