Finance Intern Learnership Opportunity: Internal Auditing Graduates

Mdalisu Investments (Pty) Ltd, a national Financial Services Provider, is inviting applications for two Finance Intern positions within our Finance Department.

 

This is a structured 12-month learnership / workplace experience programme designed to provide graduates with practical exposure to finance, internal controls, audit support, compliance, reporting, reconciliations and financial administration within a regulated financial services environment.

 

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6,000 to R8,000, depending on suitability and academic profile. Upon successful completion of the programme, interns may be considered for permanent employment, subject to business requirements and performance.

 

Career Development Roadmap

The opportunity is intended to support long-term career growth within Mdalisu’s Finance function:

Finance Intern → Finance Controller → Finance Manager → Executive Manager / CFO

 

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a UKZN graduate
  • Must have completed a qualification with Internal Auditing as a major
  • Finance, Accounting or related Commerce background will be advantageous
  • Must have achieved an overall academic average of 70% or above across their study years
  • Must be a recent graduate, preferably currently unemployed
  • Strong interest in finance, internal controls, auditing, compliance and financial services
  • Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication skills and professional conduct
  • Willingness to learn and work in a structured, performance-driven environment

  • Budget tracking and expenditure monitoring
  • Risk identification and mitigation support

  • Professional workplace conduct within a regulated financial services business
  • Access to & audit of management accounts
