The Discipline of Chemical Engineering has
the following fixed term vacancy in order to meet its teaching and learning
needs in the 2nd semester of 2026.
Lecturer in ENCH2ET
Experimental Techniques & Measurements

Techniques & Measurements
The Lecturer will assist in the teaching and supervision
of students with regards to experimental techniques and measurements, experimental
design, technical report writing, sensor terminology, basic statistical methods,
signal conditioning and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
The incumbent will be required to deliver
lectures and assess the students’ knowledge and competencies through relevant
assessments in accordance with the UKZN College of Agriculture, Engineering and
Science 2026 handbook.
The incumbent will
report to the Head of Discipline: Chemical Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
· BSc Eng degree in Chemical Engineering
· MSc Eng in Chemical Engineering
· Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level,
specifically in transport phenomena
The remuneration will be at the University standard rates of pay.
