CRITICAL SOCIAL JUSTICE AND CITIZENSHIP (EDSJ1CS) MODULE FINAL REMINDER TO 2024, 2025 & 2026 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Dear Students,

As we approach the final closure of the Critical Social Justice and Citizenship (EDSJ1CS) – Semester 1, 2026 module, this serves as an important reminder to all 2024, 2025, and 2026 undergraduate students regarding outstanding registration, participation, and completion responsibilities.

University Rule (BR11)

The Critical Social Justice and Citizenship (CSJC / EDSJ1CS) module is a University-wide compulsory, non-credit-bearing module that all undergraduate students are required to successfully complete in order to qualify for graduation, in accordance with General Academic Rule BR11

How to Check Your EDSJ1CS Status

To determine whether you have already registered for or completed the module, please:

  1.  Log into Student i-Enabler / Student Central and check your registered modules for the current academic year; and
  2.  For 2024 and 2025 students, review your academic transcript to confirm whether Critical Social Justice and Citizenship (EDSJ1CS) appears as completed: Results Code: P (Pass)

Important Academic Guidance

Students are strongly advised to consult their Academic Development Officer (ADO) within their respective School or College Office for accurate curriculum-specific guidance.

Your ADO will assist you to:

  • Confirm whether the module is reflected within your curriculum structure
  • Verify your current registration/completion status
  • Guide you on the correct process should you need to register for the module in Semester 2, 2026. Second semester registration commences Mon, 13 July

  • Registration complications
  • Curriculum progression issues
  • Graduation delays
