This semester’s edition is a musical chronicle of the African Indigenous people’s beliefs, superstitions and the functionality of their music within daily lives. The repertoire features Amahubo songs, Maskandi and story-telling, as well as African dance. The performance skills ensembles are directed by Mr. Mfundiseni Ndwalane (Amahubo ensemble) and Ms. Nozuko Nguqu (Maskandi and Indigenous African Music composition ensembles) featuring Ingoma ensemble by Mr. Thabiso Zondo and Maskandi guitar by Mr. Matshitshi Ngema.
