The Macroeconomics Research Unit (MRU), within the College of Law and Management Studies, will host its 4th International Biennial Macroeconomics Symposium from 22–23 September 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch, Durban.

The symposium will be held under the theme:
“Climate Change, Sustainable Growth and Macroeconomic Dynamics in Africa.”

The programme will also feature a dedicated side track themed:
“Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Inclusive Sustainable Development in Africa.”

Interested academics, postgraduate students, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts.
