The Writing Place for the School of Law assists undergraduate Law students with:

•       Law problem type questions/assignments
•       FIRAC technique
•       Analysing case law skills
•       Referencing using Law footnote method - please ensure that you have accessed the Law footnote and bibliography guide before your consultation - available on the UKZN Library website.
•       Any other related writing skills the student requires advice on.

Undergraduate students (1st – 4th year) from the School of Law should take a complete draft of their assignment and the assignment question/guideline to the Writing Place Tutor at least THREE WORKING DAYS before the due date, during consultation times only. Feedback on your assignment will be provided during the consultation and you are welcome to follow up with the tutor for further clarification or assistance.
