To honour Deaf Culture and promote awareness about social inclusion and communication barriers, the Deaf students at the University of KwaZulu-Natal will be hosting a performing arts presentation for the University community. The event will take place at the Edgewood Campus Dining Hall on 10 October 2025, from 11h00-13h00. The 4 core values of Deaf Culture, namely: identity formation, self-determination, information sharing, and full access to communication, will be showcased through storytelling, music, dance, and poetry.
