BIO N’FALY KOUYATE:
N'Faly Kouyaté is a revered Griot Avant-Gardiste and
a masterful musician from the esteemed Kouyaté family of Guinea, West Africa.
As a virtuoso vocalist and master of the kora and balafon, he is celebrated for
blending the rich heritage of the Mandingue Kingdom with avant-garde musical
innovation. A two-time Grammy-nominated artist and the leader of Afro Bard
Electronique (former Afro Celt Sound System), N'Faly's work is a bridge between
ancestral wisdom and contemporary expression. Following the release of his new
album on 12th September 2025, "FINISHING", which will be showcased
during a major concert at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, his music and
storytelling offer a powerful educational journey, sharing the history, values,
and traditions of West African culture with global audiences.
