The incumbent will provide general
assistance to the staff and students within
the School. S/he will
be responsible for general housekeeping and cleanliness in the Mechanical
workshop and Laboratories. The incumbent will assist the Workshop Technicians concerning
the Maintenance of Equipment, Manufacturing of projects, and preparation of
practicals. S/he must be familiar with and adhere to all Health and Safety
requirements.
The incumbent will also fulfil any other reasonable duties and
responsibilities as determined by management with regard to the operational
needs of the School.
The incumbent will report to the Principal Technician - Chemical
Engineering.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric / NTC 3
·
One
(1) year of relevant experience which must include:
-
Experience in a workshop or similar
environment working with hand
tools
- Experience in Basic Welding & Fabrication
