Applicants are invited to apply for the position of a lecturer in Drama and Performance Studies, in the School of Arts at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Drama and Performance Studies has established a reputation for innovative teaching and research. The successful applicant should have theoretical and practical experience in the following areas: Theatre Studies, Performance Studies, and Directing. The applicant should have the potential to teach theory and practice across undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and assume relevant administrative duties in the programme.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·        A Master’s degree relevant to the field;

·        Evidence of tertiary teaching experience in the theory and practice of the discipline
