There is a funding opportunity for researchers in the mathematical sciences: the AIMS-DFG Collaboration Visits Programme, jointly offered by the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The AIMS-DFG Collaboration Visits Programme in mathematics promotes mobility within the framework of initiation of international collaborations.

 The programme supports the initiation of international research collaborations in the mathematical sciences between researchers based in African countries and those at German universities. Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.

 Application deadline: 30 September 2025
Proposals must be submitted in English.
