Twosday: Cine-concert PARIS QUI DORT ! - Touring Southern Africa

Discover the magic of silent film and live music with « Paris qui dort », a captivating experience created by French drummer Stéphane Scharlé at Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on Tuesday 20 May at 17:30.

For his first solo movie-concert, Scharlé uses a unique device of augmented drums, to create a new soundtrack to René Clair’s first film. A fantastic and poetic universe brought up to date with musical landscapes echoing repetitive music, minimal electro, and jazz improvisation.
