The Neuropsychiatric Genetics of African Populations – Psychosis (NeuroGAP-Psychosis) Study is seeking a Research Assistant to join our team. This study aims to expand our understanding of the genetic architecture of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in African populations, with a focus on sample collection and analysis in Kenya and South Africa. Based in Durban (primarily at Victoria Mxenge and Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Memorial Hospital), this role provides a unique opportunity to support neuropsychiatric genetic research and contribute to locally-led scientific initiatives.
