Dear Staff and Students 

The Macroeconomics Research Unit (MRU) in the College of Law and Management Studies will host its 3^rd International Biennial Macroeconomics Symposium from 30-31 October 2024 at the Riverside Hotel, Durban under the theme: ECONOMIC RECOVERY UNDER UNCERTAINTY: THE ROLE OF FISCAL AND MONETARY POLICY.

 

Therefore, abstracts are invited from interested academics, postgraduate students, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to understand:

(i) the role of fiscal and monetary policy in the country's economic recovery process; and

(ii) how uncertainty influences the ability to coordinate fiscal and monetary policy.
