The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music is proud to
announce the return
of SA's premier comedy and jazz
series Jokes & Jazz . The event will take place on Tuesday, 21 May 2024, starting at 17:30. It is an
exciting opportunity to enjoy the best of jazz music and hilarious jokes from
some of Durban's finest comedians.
This month's lineup includes a
diverse range of performers showcasing the talent of the local comedy scene. Hosted
by Kwanda Radebe, a 29-year-old
model, actor, and comedian from KwaZulu-Natal. He is known for his sharp wit
and impressive resume of TV and online commercials, TV shows, and stand-up
comedy competitions.
The
lineup includes Charles Philani Mthethwa is a
multi-talented comedian, actor, scriptwriter, voice artist, and event organizer
with 12 years of experience in the industry.
Cebo Mhlophe, a South African
stand-up comedian and viral video sensation, is known for his hilarious street
videos and impressive following on TikTok.
Simunye Sikhakhane, also known as
Church Boy, is a stand-up comedian from Empangeni, South Africa. He is
recognized for his clean, Christian-based humor and impressive resume of TV
shows, radio stations, and international performances.
The
exceptionally talented host Kwanda
Radebe promises to be an unforgettable evening of laughter and entertainment.
